Course aim and objectives: The course provides participants with knowledge for understanding the new criteria for tanker ship vetting inspection based on the SIRE 2.0 and the requirements of the vetting process with focus on human factor and performance. The new SIRE 2.0 process is explained in detail as well as the SIRE 2.0 three stage approach on; a) human factor b) audit and c) vessel inspection. The course also explains the strategies for managing the preparation of crew and vessel to pass a successful on-board SIRE 2.0 vetting inspection and avoid negative observations which may eventually have an impact on the vessel’s quality service performance affecting the vessel’s commercial & trading prospects
Course participation: The course is open to shipping company management, operations, technical, commercial, quality, safety & crew managers, superintendents, internal auditing team, masters and ship officers involved in the on-board vetting inspection process
Course duration: 2 days The course is provided with real time instruction through zoom platform in two pre-scheduled interactive learning sessions
